MULLINS — Mr. Lloyd Edward Cox, 83, widower of Eulee Elliott Cox, died Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at Sunny Acres Nursing Home after an illness. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 21 in Zoan United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Doug Hooks officiating. The services will be directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. 

Mr. Cox was born Jan. 10, 1924, in Horry County, a son of the late Andrew J. and Earline Gause Cox. He retired from Pilliod Furniture Manufacturing Co. in Nichols. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II. Mr. Cox was a member of Gapway Baptist Church. 

Mr. Cox was predeceased by a daughter, Alice Lewis; a son, Donald Cox; a brother, James Cox; and two sisters, Gladys Gentry and Kathleen King. Memorials may be made to Zoan United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Kathleen B. Hipskind, 3240 Mt. Olive Road, Loris, SC 29569.
