Robert A. "Bob" Davis, 62, Rt. 3, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary with the Rev. R. Dean Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Davis died Sunday, Oct. 27, 1991, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was born Feb. 3, 1929, in Girard. He attended Central Methodist College, Fayette, Mo., for two years before joining the U.S. Navy and serving in Korea. He graduated from the Kansas University School of Pharmacy in 1957.

Mr. Davis had been a Lawrence resident since 1955 and was a registered pharmacist and manager for 31 years at Raney's Drug in downtown Lawrence. He retired in March of this year.

Mr. Davis was a member of the Kansas Pharmacist Assn. and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia at Central Methodist College. He also was an avid horseman, a former member of Douglas County Trailriders and a former member of the First Baptist Church in Lawrence.

He married Nancy Bryant on June 6, 1954, in Lakeland, Fla. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two daughters, Melissa Ann Davis and Nancy Elizabeth Davison, both of Lawrence; three sons, James B. Davis of North Glenn, Colo., Timothy K. Davis of Tampa, Fla., and Jeffrey J. Davis of the home; and three grandchildren.
