I Noah Lee of the District of Horry and State of South Carolina being weak of body but sound and disposing mind and memory calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing it is appointed to all men once to die do make and ordain this my last will and testiment in manner and form following__________________________________________________________________________

Item 1st  It is my Will and desire that my body be buried in a decent Christian manner at the descretion of my Executors, and as touching my worldly goods, where with it has pleased God to bless me in this life with, I dispose of them in the manner and form following Viz________________________________________________________________________________________________

Item 2 - I lend to my dearly beloved wife Mary, during her natural life and no longer, four milch cows such as she may think roper to choose out of my stock of cattle the use of said cows with their future increase to belong to my wife during her natural life as before stated, and at her death, to my daughter Martha Edge, her heirs and afsigns forever --- Two beds and furniture which we now have in posseseion also her spinning wheel and cards chest plates and dishes with all her kitchen furniture, also twenty five dollars yearly out of the hire of my negro Neptum, during her natural life but no longer. ___________________________________________________

Item 3 - I give and bequeath unto my son John Lee and his heirs afsign forever my family Bible and hymn book_________________

Item 4 - It is my will and desire that the balance of the hire of my negro fellow Neptum, after deducting the twenty five dollars annully for the support of my wife, go towards buying each of my sons and daughters, Vs Winiford Ellis, Rebecca Duboise, Daniel Lee, Martha Edge and Wiliam Lee, a family bible and hymn book as good as the one given to John Lee, above mentioned, to be adjudged and purchased by my excutors as soon as they receive money sufficient from the hire of my negro fellow Neptum, as before mentioned.

Item 5 -I give to my daughter Winiford Ellis her heirs and afsigns     ---- not ledgabe -------- and given her by my executor  -----.

Item 6 - It is my will and desire that the whole of the residue of my estate, after deducting the legacies before mentioned, be equally divided by my executors among the whole of my children, share and share alike, excepting a tract of land here after named.

Item 7 - It is my will and desire that my negro fellow, Neptum, be hired out yearly by my executor, or should they think it best to sell the said fellow, and the money arising from the sale therof go towards the support and legacies before mentioned in this will.  The intention of the above item is that the said fellow be not sold but hired out annually as before stated, and the profits thereof go to the support and legacies before mentioned until the death of my wife and at her death then to be hired or sold at the descretioin of my executors and the profits to go as stated.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Item 8 - I give and bequeath unto my two sons, William and Daniel Lee, a tract of three hundred acres of land lying in the river swamp, granted to me about the year 1810, adjoining the lands of Est E. Tillman, which is the land excepted in the sixth item----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lastly, I hereby nominate and appoint my three sons, John, Daniel, and William Lee, Executors of this, my last will and testament, in witness whereof I do hereunto set my hand and seal this this twenty ninth day of January, in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Seven.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
