David Carlton Todd, 73, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 1, 1944 in Wilmington, NC, a son of the late Elbert S. and Annie Inez Gore Todd.

He was also predeceased by one brother Elbert Donald Todd.

David was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He owned the Sundae Station Ice Cream Shop at Coastal Mall for many years. He loved to restore old classic cars.

Mr. Todd is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Susie H. Todd; one son, Bradley David Todd (Susan) of Conway; three daughters, Julie T. Daft (Bob) of Conway, Susan Glasgow Brown (Dennis) of Murrells Inlet and Sandy Glasgow Reyes (Rich) of Myrtle Beach; five grandchildren, Erin M. Todd, Caroline O. Todd, James David Daft, Hunter D. Brown and Hayden H. Brown; one great grandchild, Daniel Layne Brown with many other family and friends who will miss him.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Watson Funeral Services from 5pm until 7pm.

Funeral Services will be held 11am Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Watson Funeral Services with Rev. Tom Swilley and Rev. David Dickerson officiating.

Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Mausoleum.
