Mr. Larry Ray Tyler, age 70, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at his home. Mr. Tyler was born on April 12, 1947 in Conway, SC, son of the late Rev. Norman Emmett Tyler and the late Mary Jane Barnhill Tyler. Mr. Tyler worked as an equipment designer and was a member of Living Water Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Carole Cox Tyler of Longs, SC; two sons, Wendell Tyler and Derek Buffkin and wife, Dana all of Loris, SC; daughter, Jeannie Tyler… Fox of Loris, SC; his brother, Ronald Tyler and wife, Pat of Hickory, NC, two sisters, Pearl Shelley of Loris, SC and Gloria Speer of Dallas, GA; six grandchildren, Russell Tyler and wife, Elizabeth, Grace Tyler, Cora Fox, Kale Buffkin, Ashlyn Buffkin and Rori Buffkin.

Mr. Tyler was predeceased by two brothers, Hoyt Tyler and Michael Tyler.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Living Water Baptist Church with Pastor Lebron Crisp and Dr. John Goudelock officiating. Committal services will follow at Cane Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 1:00 PM until time of service at Living Water Baptist Church.
