Loris - Funeral Services for Daniel Lyde Boyd, 86, who died Thursday morning in a local hospital, will be conducted Friday at 11:00AM in the Loris First Baptist church by Rev. Redden thames. Burial, directed by Hardwick Funeral Home, will be in Patterson Cemetery .

   Pallbearers will be Donnie Richardson, Eldred Jerald, Donald Spivey, Michael Duncan, Tommie Hewitt and Bennie Hewitt.

   Mr. Boyd was born in Horry County , a son of the late Daniel O. Boyd and Izzie Jerald Boyd.

   Surviving are his wife Delphia Blackburn Boyd; a son, B. Frank Boyd of Loris; four daughters, Mrs. W. Joyce Suggs of Fayetteville, NC, Mrs. George Hewitt of Florence, Mrs. Oliver Duncan of Loris and Mrs. Joe Duncan of Tabor City, NC; two brothers, H.H. Boyd and Carl Boyd, both of Loris; five sisters, Mrs. Ora Hardee, Miss Lillian Boyd, Mrs. Mattie Prince and Mrs. Bertha Cox all of Loris, and Mrs. Leila Macklin of Myrtle Beach; 15 grandchildren and eight great grandchidren.
