This is a huge question because John Hickman married into the Wingate line which is connected to the English Royal line dating back to William the Conqueror via Ann Blount. So finding out if John is really Samuels father is a big deal. I will say that John Hickmans Father in law Edward Wingate mentioned two grand sons in his will. But not Samuel.
