Patterson received a Confederate Pension in 1889 for his service.  Born Oct. 17, 1824, buried Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, MS. Has a stone at Holly Hill Cemetery, hwy 754, Horry County, SC. His tombstone has died “after 1880” this is incorrect.
