Thelma Mae Fowler Hardee of the Glendale community, Loris, passed away Monday, Feb. 1, at Loris Rehab and Nursing Center following an illness. She was 93.
    Born Oct. 29, 1922 in Tabor City, she was the daughter of the late Asberry and Quillie Fowler.
     Survivors include her two sons, Troy Drue Hardee of Loris and Brooks Ervin Hardee of Monroe, Georgia; a daughter, Joyce Hardee Stephens of Wilmington; a sister, Kathleen Suggs of Tabor City; a brother, M.C. Fowler of Loris; a brother-in-law; a sister-in-law; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
    In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hardee was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Drue Hardee; a brother, Rev. Glen Fowler; two sisters, Beulah Cox and Aline Gerald; and a son-in-law.
    Funeral services were planned for 11:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel in Loris, with Pastor Fred Holmes officiating, committal services following at Twin City Memorial Gardens.
    Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service at Hardwick Funeral Home.
