Longs, South Carolina Mrs. Juanita Gattis Harris, age 72, passed away Saturday morning, October 26, 2013 at McLeod Seacoast Hospital in Little River, SC following an illness. Born on May 20, 1941 in Loris, SC she was the daughter of Mr. Marvin Gattis and Mrs. Daisy Cornelius Jordan Gattis Skipper. Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith. Survivors include her loving husband, Robert E. “Bob” Harris of the home; son, Glen Mishoe and wife, Kimberly of Loris, SC; daughter, Kendra Grill and husband, Steve of Charlotte, NC; stepson, Larry Harris of Nashville, TN; stepdaughter, Peggy Kravig and husband, Glen of Pico Rivera, CA; two brothers, Edgar Gattis and wife, Lois of Conway, SC and Carroll Gattis of Longs, SC; four sisters, Willa Mae Drew and husband, William of Conway, SC, Jean Kalb of Huntington Beach, CA, Carthinia Lee and husband, James of Nichols, SC and Judith Williamson and husband, Bailey of Evergreen, NC and many loving grand and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harris was predeceased by one brother, Mr. Carl Gattis. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mack Hutson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Committal services will be private.
